Palma with its enchanting old town offers not only an array of cultural activities and museums, but also a large selection of exquisite restaurants, cafés, bars and designer shops.
The popular southwest area includes trendy Puerto Portals, Santa Ponsa with famous golf courses, charming Puerto de Andratx and many other nice areas.
West and northwest of the island offer spectacular mountain views, a milder summer climate and very stylish stone townhouses and fincas. Some popular areas are Soller, Port de Soller, Deia and Valldemossa.
The South is home to the island´s best beaches with kilometers of long white sands and pretty turquoise coves. Several are backed by nature reserves so remain unspoilt and peaceful places to relax.
The southeast/east encompasses from Porto Cristo to Porto Colom, including the resorts of Cala D’Or and Porto Petro. The towns are approximately a 50 minute drive from Palma.
The northeast encompasses from Colonia de Sant Pere to Manacor. The northeast features many areas of out-standing natural beauty against a dramatic backdrop of mountains.
The north includes Pollensa and Alcudia and their surrounding countryside and towns, namely Cala San Vicente, Campanet, Formentor, Mal Pas, Moscari, Muro, Sa Pobla and more.
The center of the island includes villages such as Sencelles, Sineu, Montuiri or Randa.
